The English countryside is rightly celebrated for its beauty. But many of the most memorable sights are far from natural–they were created by the influential landscaper Lancelot “Capability” Brown. I was grateful to visit some of his best-known creations, thanks to Visit Britain and WestJet. Along the way, I met the great grandson of a former Governor General and had a chat with Lord and Lady Carnarvon, the owners of Highclere Castle where Downton Abbey was filmed. It was an amazing trip that produced two stories for Post Media.
